It’s a WRAP!
Thank you @waesummit for charting this new course of collective inclusion across west Africa. As we navigate the tides of the new realities in the political space, we are hopeful that this maiden edition will provoke meaningful conversation and solutions across Africa and the world at large.. Congratulations once again to the entire team and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for putting Nigeria on the world map with this one! 👏🏽👏🏽🇳🇬

The Gift of Odema!!!
1 post or a 1000 post just not enough to capture this gift of God but my feeble attempt
You came to meet Baby Ara in London mid last year even though your twins were just 7 months old.
When Okiki was born in 2021 you spent a whole week sending customized luxury gifts and cards- it was such excessive love that we had to pray for you to have twins...so imagine when the twins came a year after...our joy knew no bounds and because of who you were that meant from security to drivers to cooks literally everyone rejoicing with Aunty OD!
You were Boss Queen with the most insane work ethic yet the comedian in you was what I saw when I came to the office...you made the deals and you still did it with style and lots of laughter. ❤️❤️❤️
On this great and terrible day where we celebrate your life gone too soon (crazy) one must admit that LOVE wins...now your excessive love is kinda making sense...your generosity didn't even make sense...and so LOVE wins!!! The LOVE you exuded and the light you so fiercely shined in EVERY situation
God is still good and so we saw Boss Wife & Boss Mother... thank you for loving my sister the way you did. Thank you for loving us all so intentionally.
My forever Billionaire Aunty!!! Rest in peace and rise glory!!! May my brother and children receive great grace! May He quiet them with His love (Zephaniah 3v17)
And yes Heavenly Father we judge you faithful even when we don't understand. Thank you Lord for the gift of Odema. Thank you for the gift of the cross and eternal life.
My Sis and My Billionaire Aunty Till we meet again!
Oh the overwhelming never ending reckless love of God!
I’m unworthy but grace…
@sholajayi what a year…..we will raise a banner till the trumpet sounds. 2nd Cor 2:14
It’s been days since the #lekkitollgate massacre and nothing from the Presidency.
I will never disrespect the office of the President by saying that he’s incompetent, inept and a complete failure.
But evil is engulfing our country and if by their fruits you shall know them ...Then ‘res ipsa lo quitur’ the evidence simply speaks for itself.
PMB under your watch and your leadership, innocent people have been killed and are still being killed.
Their blood speaks
We will never forget
We will mourn
We will grieve.
We will be disoriented for a little while but we will rise!
And if there’s ONE thing that comes out of this- We will never go into the dustbin of our history to pick a myth as a leader in a New Nigeria
Our future was never in the past, our future lies in front.
Lesson learnt! Thanks PMB for nailing the coffin to our past.
#RIP heroes! Strength to us as citizens, we are all we have for now-
Let your light shine out of this darkness O Lord!!!!

This was the highlight of my speech at #DARE2019 #LEVEARGE last week.
Thank you @dareafrica@youthhubafrica for the opportunity to share my campaign story with the audience.
#throwback Grand Finale of the election series. On this day last year, the election aka freak show happened. Let’s just say we were planning for a football match and the game was changed to basketball at midnight.
So what happened next- we threw a party. For my most important constituency- children! That’s why we are serving. That’s who we’re all building this country for anyway.
Nigeria will be great though it gives ‘gbas gbos gbas’ (hard knocks) we won’t give up on this amazingly blessed & rich country #theend #politics #faith
Women don’t support women True/False
Total BS from my experience. A woman ‘in the abroad’ was the 1st person to tell me to run for office. A female politician helped with the campaign budget & shared strategy of how she raised funds (she was the 1st female Dep Gov in Nig), a woman gave me the security plan of how to get out of places that were dangerous, women helped fill the form, a woman helped find the campaign office etc women prayed, fasted, encouraged, protected, women sang & danced & gave me the nickname- ‘Last Born’ women provided post-election therapy (best hotel with pure organic tasty meals), women strategized & leveraged on their network for me. It might be conventional to say women don’t help women but that doesn’t make it the truth!
P.S Happy birthday to Hon Mero in the pic the 1st & only female counselor (Ushafa Ward) out of 62 wards in FCT. She held it down for me & we in turn retaliated & ensured that she won her ward 😊#wcw #politics #truth #women
Exactly a year today, I formally made my intentions to run for HOR known to my State Party Executives (APC-FCT) and it was such an honor to have the Honorable Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Audu Ogbeh present. Grateful for his support and encouragement.
Ènìyàn lasò mi
Yoruba Proverb meaning people are my covering. That’s what I experienced at my State Declaration on this day last year.
Its when you formally declare your intention to the State Party Executives your intention to run & why. I had messed it up the first time (read the blog) but got it right the 2nd time 😊.
Seeing my people from Kano, Lagos, The abroad etc show up was just humbling #blessed #gratefulheart

This captures the feeling I had after the APC FCT chapter house of rep debate- This time last year. Although I had a slow start (fear) and blanked out a couple of times but ended strong. With the help of no nonsense friends in the audience that were sending me jabs to step up my game- made it through eventually & got the nickname Simi pepper.
I hope more political parties get aspirants to debate. It was really the best way as a new entrant for party delegates to get to know you.
A defining moment from the campaign trail #throwback #oneyear #politics
