Sara Wakhawatha is now live.
We’ve been building this since October, following a feeling more than a plan.
@waleedshah and @razmoussa would produce a piece of music, I would feel something and write, and somehow we were always meeting in the same place without trying.
This became a space where we put our questions, our insecurities, our hidden battles, and turned them into sound.
Over time it grew into something bigger than us. We’ve never heard anything like it before, and every time we create something new we still look at each other, hug each other, like how did this just happen?
This project brought us closer than we expected, and it became something we truly believe in.
In collaboration with @simaperformingarts , our work opened into a multisensory experience. With @hadi_nb1 on percussion, and sacred smoke by @miirajofficial .
We hope you leave feeling more connected to yourself and to each other, and maybe with the urge to express something that has been sitting inside you.
