To make a ring, we measure the inside diameter of the finger (+ the metal thickness), then multiply it by Ļ (3.14159ā¦) to calculate the exact length of gold needed to form the circumference of your ring!

In this 2-day, 10 hour workshop, you will learn how to shape and solder a band ring. You will also make a bezel setting for a cabochon stone and finally set the stone in the setting.

New skill unlocked āŗļø Designed and hand-made my first silver ring!āØāØFor 6 weeks, Iāve been taking classes at @silversmitten , where Iāve learned how to carve wax and sculpt metal through the lost wax casting technique.
A peek of the process from sketch, to carving the wax mold, to melting the metal, and carving and polishing the silver. Thank you to our amazing instructor @melidolman for her patience and diligence, definitely a fun process!
