This is an exciting week! We’re thrilled to be featured on the Emmy-winning show, George to the Rescue @george2rescue this Saturday, May 2, at 9:30 AM (EDT) on WNBC.     For over 30 years, SilverLining has been a proud partner of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club @kipsbaybgc and this project is one of the most meaningful expressions of that commitment yet. This year, we played matchmaker to Corey Damen Jenkins @coreydamenjenkins and Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club for George to the Rescue. Together, we transformed a teen lounge and bodega at the Kips Bay clubhouse in the Bronx. NBC called it “one of the best reveals in the history of the show.”    The project was punctuated by a surprise visit from Russell Wilson @dangerusswilson and Ciara @ciara of the Why Not You Foundation @whynotyoufdn , who contributed $1M to this project. We couldn’t be prouder of what this team created together for the 11,000 children Kips Bay serves.  This marks our fifth collaboration with George to the Rescue and a continuation of our commitment to give back to the community we call home.    The full episode will be available to stream on Peacock and YouTube!

The placement of the staircase became a central design decision, not just for function, but for how the home would feel and flow. What was once a darker, more enclosed area is now open and full of light. The curve, the materials, and the subtle contrast in finishes draw your eye upward, turning a practical element into something sculptural. It’s a moment that connects the home in every sense, both physically and visually, while adding a sense of movement and quiet drama to the space. Last week at 3 World Trade Center, we celebrated the 25th—silver—anniversary of Open House New York @openhousenewyork .   As a lifelong “New York City kid”, our Founder and CEO Josh Wiener is a big fan and supporter and had the pleasure of serving on the Host Committee. OHNY was built on a powerful conviction that openness is a defining principle of civic life. Today, that mission drives everything from their annual OHNY Weekend festival to year-round programming that investigates the infrastructure shaping our city. An exciting reveal for the most amazing kids!✨ The new Why Not You community lounge at @kipsbaybgc — designed by Corey Damen Jenkins — was created as a true hangout space for the teens who use it every day. Perigold’s generous donation of beautiful furnishings and accessories helped transform the room in a meaningful way, with modern, bespoke pieces that elevated the room and infused a sense of color, comfort, and personality throughout. And the result?
