This silver age grail is super rare, with only 1200 blue labels on the census at any grade and 69 at a 1.0. It was hard giving up my Avengers and XMen #1s but I know I will get them back in due time.

I just made an epic upgrade: traded my Superman #11 6.0 (plus a little 💰) for THIS stunner of a Superman #11 8.0!!
This old label Comic was slabbed in 2011 and has never been cleaned or pressed! My plan is to send her in for a little CPR and see what happens! 🤞📈 This book is super clean and the grader’s notes look REAL promising, so I’m feeling good about this one. 🦸♂️💪

There’s just something special about Golden Age Superman.
This is Superman 6 from 1940, and the cover is about as iconic as it gets. It is simple, bold, and instantly recognizable. Superman standing front and center, the big logo, the yellow background… it has that early comic book magic you just don’t see the same way anymore.
This came out only a couple of years after Superman first appeared in Action Comics #1, when Siegel and Shuster were still helping build the foundation for superhero comics as we know them.
Also, I have to say, the yellow @keyguardofficial guard was the perfect choice here. It makes the whole book pop and really ties into the cover beautifully.
A true piece of comic history.
