I think that Emo/Post-Hardcore is something that you have to get into when you are younger for you to enjoy when you are older. I think a lot of the power of this kind of music comes from nostalgia and emotion-heavy memories and can grow as times goes on, but it has to be connected to earlier memories associated with the music. Just some thoughts
Anyways, I like SILVEN more every time I see them and their recent set at The Lucky Wolf was a great way to start the Summer. Check out the rest on the channel.

Our May 9th show in Kalamazoo will be the FIRST show that we will be selling our first merch ever! We will also be bringing anything that doesn't get sold in Kalamazoo to Chicago, so I would definitely not miss these. These shirts are most likely gonna be gone soon. We'll have sizes S - 3XL.

Post-Hardcore from Grand Rapids. To me, these guys draw as much inspiration from Emo music as much as hardcore and blend it into an emotive yet mosh-worthy experience.
Their sweaty set at TV Station last weekend reminded me that these sweaty, summer basement shows that we all love are just around the corner. Prepare your deodorant and earplugs.
