You have guided me, supported me, given me grace, and taught me what it means to lead. I couldn’t be more grateful to be an AKA, and I couldn’t be more blessed to be HM. To my Prophytes, thank you for showing me the light, for setting me up for success, changing my life for the better, forever and for building the foundation that we stand on. To my 36 R.E.I.G.N., I love you. Y’all taught me what sisterhood was, defended me, supported me, and showed me a new perspective on life. To FF, words cannot describe the amount of love I have for y’all. Y’all have held my hand through the worst of it and carried me when I couldn’t stand on my own. Y’all have wiped my tears, made me laugh until my stomach hurt, and brought me some of my favorite memories from college. Who would’ve known AKA would bring us together? I have the honor of being able to call y’all my lifelong friends. I love y’all till my lights give out. To S.T.O.R.M., y’all made me a Prophyte, and for that, I’m grateful. Guiding y’all through AKAland has been one of the most fulfilling and rewarding experiences of my life. Y’all have taken on leadership, and seeing y’all grow as women makes my heart smile. Over the past four years at Georgia State University, I’ve learned that those dreams are within reach. Every class, every workshop, every late night, and every moment on set has shaped me into the filmmaker I am today.
