A morning well spent testing the macro capabilities of the iPhone 15 Pro. Totally exceeded my expectations! It’s also the first time I really gave a shot at editing on Lightroom mobile and I gotta say I love it. Never thought I’d be so stoked about a 100% mobile setup! Subject: wet dandelions

I’m in a throwback mood lately, can you tell? Jordan turned out to be quite an unexpected gem. Our family trip of 2022 turned out to be a hunt for hidden treasures in the rocks. Arriving there, I was completely unaware that such geological wonders existed in nature. I quickly made it my mission to find as many weird looking pieces on the walls surrounding me while hiking, putting my observation skills to the test. Photos of me by my brother. In contrast with active volcanoes, Iceland is also full of, well, ice. Here’s another throwback to my 2022 and 2023 trips to the land of ice and fire, focusing on the cold side of the landscape. Photos 2, 11 and 14 taken by my friend Esteban. High quality ice and glacier images available for licensing on my website ⬇ ▁ www.silentlayer.io

Litli-Hrútur eruption, part 2. More cherished moments from 2 days spent around an active volcano. Being able to freely get this close to fresh lava is not something you get to experience every day. With security measures increasing around volcanic eruptions, I doubt I’ll get the same feeling of proximity with danger ever again. Like, I literally cooked sausages on the lava 😅 (swipe to see). TBT: Litli-Hrútur eruption 2023. By far my most intense encounter with nature. I remember how the midnight sunlight kept me sitting in front of the eruption, contemplating it until late night hours and giving me plenty of time to explore the area. I stayed there many hours, on my own, capturing the event from every possible angle. A lot of previously unshared volcano photos are now available to you. If you need an artwork for your project, send me a message and I’ll be happy to start a collaboration. Full licensing catalogue available on my website ⬇ ▁ www.silentlayer.io

The Photo Licensing Catalogue, part 1: Icelandic glacial rivers. ✨ I’m happy to announce the launch of my Photo Licensing Catalogue. Revisiting photos from past travels made me realise how many of them were sleeping on my hard drive without purpose. These are photos I didn’t include in my Fine Art collection « Contemplation » (for various reasons) but that I still love and wanted to share with the world. My catalogue is open to licensing for a broad range of projects such as music album artworks, book covers, social media content,... you name it. If you see a photo that resonates with your project, let’s talk! Full catalogue & info available on my website ⬇ ▁ www.silentlayer.io

2025 saw me diving deep into the world of macro fluid dynamics, opening my brain to a whole new visual universe unlike anything I had seen before. I’m very happy with the direction this project is taking and I cannot wait to close the Ōra chapter in style in 2026! ▁ www.silentlayer.io

TBT: Jordan. As we approach the end of the year, I want to share some images from past travels. 2025 was a year spent mostly at home, experimenting with new ways of creating abstract pieces of art. While the Ōra project is nowhere near completion and will continue in 2026, I miss traveling. I believe 2026 will bring amazing opportunities in terms of nature photography. Looking forward to the next adventure ✌
