It was such a fun trip which we planned ahead of my 30th Birthday. We ate, we drank and I got to live out my dream of driving a classic fiat 500 across the hills of Tuscany. Wow — what an incredible weekend at the Independent Label Market (@indielabelmkt ) in London 

We were blown away by the energy, the conversations, and the love for cassette culture. The response to our stall was amazing — we completely sold out of our new branded portable cassette players, which honestly just means the world to us.
 It’s days like these that remind us why we do this — real human connection, the joy of physical formats, and sharing music in a way that feels meaningful.
 We were honoured to be surrounded by so many inspiring independent labels, all flying the flag for creativity and community.
 Huge thank you to the Independent Label Market for organising such a special event. 
We already can’t wait for next year.

Back in 2020 I discovered the joy of collecting new music on cassette tapes. I fell back in love with the art of music and collecting my own record collection, creating memories i can share with friends and family for years to come! Since then I’ve started a cassette record label and commuity called Chalkpit Cassette Club supporting new artists to release on the format and for music fans across the world to discover new music in a physical way!
