“Dankbar - und au chli stolz”
Some stories take time to be told.
This one is about the years after becoming Olympic champion in 2018 - becoming a father of twins, dealing with a long injury, surgery on my back, and being away from the sport for over a year. It shows moments I’ve never shared before. Not just the highs, but also the quieter, tougher parts in between.
It’s also about the way back - returning to the top, and eventually making the decision to step away in 2022.
Today, I’m a proud dad, grateful for everything sport has given me, and still using those lessons every day.
Big thanks to my friend @silas.projects , who created this film as part of his apprenticeship project - and ended up winning an award for best storytelling with it. Well deserved.

When I retired from racing, I thought I’d miss the feeling of my GS and SL boards.
Turns out I don’t - because the @oxesssnowsport #SXR brings that same tech into a playful, in-between length.
As stable as the racing machines, but made for those “ride all day” kind of days.
This is the board I grab when it’s all about fun!
