Coast Red is a punk-infused indie rock group based out of Orange County, California, with roots in San Diego, L.A., and Long Beach. Dubbed “Cali rock,” their sound has been described by BuzzMusic as “a crisp, cohesive blend of pacific rock.”
Founded in 2014 by frontman Jacob Sloan at SDSU, the band—now featuring Sloan, Chase Dillon, Mike Booth, and Tyler Keene—has refined its style across two albums, Dreamin and Dreamin II, known for their light-hearted surf riffs, dreamy melodies, and beachy drum beats.
Their upcoming album More Each Day offers a fresh take on the classic style they’ve cultivated, with singles “Swim,” “Wasted Days,” “Mask,” and “Miss Eümore” delivering rippin’ bass grooves, iconic guitar riffs, heavy-handed drum beats, and alluring vocal melodies. Coast Red continues to gig across Southern California, spreading their signature Cali rock sound.
