Sihr’s new EP “All of That Wants Your Longing” brings together a collection of cover artworks selected for the musical worlds of each track. Thank you so much for all these amazing works!
Boogieman @fabiospolti
All of That Wants Your Longing @pietpb
Golden Fish @altayerlik
The Ocean is Here
Home, Trees etc. @nurwiedaslicht
And most of all, I would like to thank my dear friend Can Kuman @cankuman for opening the space for us to create together. I feel very lucky for this friendship and collaboration, and I truly hope we’ll make many more songs side by side. 🤍
“Golden Fish” is the music video for Sihr’s song of the same name, co-directed with Doruk Can Kaya.
After failing a competition, a dancer is haunted by a shadow born from vulnerability. Moving through shifting class identities, this shadow becomes both a threat and a guide, forcing a confrontation with the self.
Thank you so much to everyone who was with us and contributed to making this project happen. A big thank you to Viktoria for photographing these very special moments.

Last weekend, Galerie21 presented UNDER THE SHADES, a duo exhibition bringing together Kitarumo @bye.jer and Sihr @sihr____ for their first encounter in Hamburg. Across installation, sound and performance, the exhibition unfolded as a space where two distinct artistic universes met.
The exhibition was curated by Adele Anstett @a_anstett .
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the opening and to those who experienced Kitarumo’s live performance on Friday evening.
Here are selected documentation images from the exhibition.

UNDER THE SHADES
Kitarumo and Sihr
13.01.26 – 15.01.26
Galerie 21 warmly invites you ro the opening of UNDER THE SHADES on Friday the 13th of February from 6pm
Performance by Kitarumo at 7:30pm
Sat - Sun: from 11am to 6pm.
in the presence of the artists and curator.
Kitarumo and Sihr never met before, therefore, you are invited to join them to discover their first encounter in Hambourg at Galerie21. This duo-show will be the place where two universes collide.
Beyond visual harmony, both of their practices rely on self-construction through artistic expression. Kitarumo and Sihr develop a specific vocabulary through installations that question the presence or absence of the queer body in today’s landscapes. From situated perspectives, they address the public and extend their self-examination to collective reflection, by plunging the visitors in immersive spaces that stimulate their senses.
Sometimes, affirmation comes through personas: a costume becomes an armour, and the stage, a ring against the odds.
With works from @bye.jer and @sihr____
and a curatorial text by @a_anstett
The works presented by Arda Ersalan were built in collaboration with Ata Kurtuluş (Griang) @griangg and Leon Scheich @leon.scheich

One of the last songs I wrote in my house in Istanbul. It reminds me that, even as I leave behind so many memories I’ve shared, there are some things I’ll never forget. Just like I wrote in the lyrics — watching the pine tree outside my window grow in silence every time I came home — I’m now learning to grow quietly, just like it.”
Clips from the video coming soon.

As our first project with @griangg at HFBK, All the Pieces Fell Into Place was created in Fischbeker Heide by capturing around 200 images of each scene, scanning them in 360 degrees, and transferring them into a 3D environment, where they were further processed with effects in Blender. In the sound design process, I collaged the chaos of migration process — through distorted German speech, airplane sounds, and aggressive bass — with serene nature imagery. Link in bio.
"Great Sadness"
Bodies confined within fragmented cultural alienation and processes of degradation, estranged from language, are drawn into a desperate pursuit of meaning through a visceral orientation toward the natural. Within this search, marked by the persistent presence of the shadow the disintegration and distortion of form become inevitable. In this state of transformation, nature functions as the sole remaining force capable of sustaining the body’s continuity with life.
One of the most stressful periods I've been through, yet surrounded by people with whom I deeply felt supported — creating and sharing has been the best way for me to express my emotions. Despite the distance that has come between me and my friends and family in Turkey, the love I feel for them, along with the endless gray skies of Hamburg, where I will be away for a while and unable to express myself in my own language, pushed me to make this project.
I wanted to build a body. A body divided, strong, but equally dark — in the world where political tension floats in the air and goodness becomes invisible on the surface. A body that can meditate within pain. A body that connects with nature and the primal in order to find love within.
From the first moment I started this project to the end, I want to once again thank Simon, who thought alongside me and shared the weight of the process, and Leon, whose original masks I saw at the beginning of the year and was deeply inspired by.
