Ruinart on the roof. We currently have some feature Champagne’s on our list including a selection of cuvées from Ruinart by the glass and the bottle and some back vintage Dom Pérignon by the bottle. It’s always a good time for Champagne. @ruinart@domperignonofficial
Patience rewarded. The 2017 Georges de Vogüe Chambolle-Musigny (Pinot Noir) is a rare gem and now at 9 years young it’s drinking beautifully and is on our special Coravin by the glass list. Notes from our wine team:
Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé can trace it’s lineage back over 550 years, to 1450 and the Chambolle
vines of one Jean Moisson. Highly regarded as the greatest estate in Chambolle Musigny, today the
domaine is headed by its 20th generation. Comte Georges de Vogüé’s Chambolle-Musigny Rouge is a
benchmark village wine, capturing the floral delicacy and concentrated fruit expression that the appellation
is famous for. Uniquely, the quality of this wine is boosted by grapes sourced from the domaine’s younger
Pinot Noir vines in their prestigious Grand Cru vineyards of Musigny and Bonnes-Mares.
The fruit is delicate and ripe, open and forward with lively acidity. Delightful freshness and effortless
balance, with red currant and hints of rhubarb.
