Founded in Derby in 1946, @merciancycles have been crafting bespoke, handmade bicycles for 80 years.
Over that time theyโve built a reputation for producing high-quality steel frames tailored to the rider โ not off-the-shelf, not mass-produced, but hand-built to fit, last, and perform.
Before Mercian offered support, @the_3wheeled_triker was riding a steel frame converted to a trike using a system called Trykit.
Now he rides a frame made for trike riding.

In 2019, Calum OโNeillโs world began to shift. Diagnosed with Ataxia, a neurological condition affecting coordination and balance, Calum was forced to step away from his job at Pophams and give up cycling on two wheels.
Frame of Mind is an intimate portrait of Calumโs transition from two wheels to three. Now a member of the GB talent programme, Calum is redefining whatโs possible as he sets his sights on the LA 2028 Paralympic Games.
His journey wouldnโt be possible without the support of his family, @pophamsbakery founder @goldollie , professional cyclist @taogeogheganhart , and most recently @merciancycles who have engineered a custom-built trike โ designed specifically for elite para-cycling.
