the more I talk about being a lucky girl the luckier I feel so I’m going to continue on this thread! last thing from my birthday (which was last month) (everyone is tired of me I get it!!!!!!)
recently i’ve been carrying this book around and drawing in it when I feel uncomfortable or when I feel the need to fidget so here are some drawings
1. Something about a boy and a city which are maybe the same thing
2. I was sitting at a bar in Istanbul, two drinks in, drawing in a notebook and thought to myself I must look so performatively insufferable right now
3. Alone at a Thai restaurant in Phoenix, Arizona. I hate eating alone in foreign cities so I began drawing what I saw.
4. With a friend in Amsterdam talking about the fig tree. He was working on some writing so I began to draw the cafe we were at.
5. Post date hungover ‘diary’ entry.

7. A conversation with Kieran at Soho House. We split a bottle of Sancerre and drew together. He wants me to say that he is single and looking for a wife. He wants 2 kids.
8. A doodle from a conversation with Alanna. I told her my 2 year goal is to be a DINK. She said her 2 year goal was to be a bird.
9. On a menu in Amsterdam, over a conversation at a wine bar. (There’s really a throughline of wine here.)

it’s impossible to fit a whole year into 20 pictures but everyone seems to be doing it. this year was awesome and also so sucky but also incredible. anyways I love life I can’t wait to keep living it happy almost 2026 … where I will be in my late 20s ew😭😭

I am the luckiest girl in the world.
Last night I threw a little Christmas party, for 10 friends in my New York apartment. (What a dream) They made me give a toast, and this was the gist of it. Not to get too sentimental but I’m so incredibly blessed to be surrounded by people who constantly show up for each other. To me there is nothing more important! I love you all!!!!

I’ve been so busy with work I haven’t made something for myself since the summer, so I am hoping I will start now that the weather is colder and my life is stiller (I almost cried making this I love little me)
