Hi I made a book! A real life book. Of my art from over the last 5 years. It will be released with an accompanying exhibition of my works at the revolutionary epic arts hub of Los Angeles, @heavymannerslibrary .
“Venus in Hell” would never have existed without the tremendous help from Amanda Chung from the fabulous @luckyrisograph .
This book has been the focus of most of my creative energy over the last 8 months. If you’re in LA, come to the opening on Feb 9 at 7pm! Show will be open from Feb 9-19.
Cheers, all 🥲🤍
I’m having an art show! The first one in almost two years. I’m very excited and hope to see anyone and everyone there. Make that trip up to beautiful old Hudson and come hang out and drink wine with me! 🍷🍃
Some of these works are as old as 2019, made when I was living in Hudson, painting on the floor of my bedroom. I would walk around town on my days off and try to find odd objects at thrift stores and junk piles to glue onto the canvas. I found a bag of glass shards (not safe) and mixed them into the white paint. I cut out old childhood drawings and repurposed them for new pieces.
Some are newer, with a couple of paintings from 2024, when I was at the Art Student’s League, the first time I’d been at an art studio before 8 am since college.
I’d like to give a huge thank you to @jonah_bokaer and @the.hudson.eye.2025 for giving me the opportunity to show these works at their beautiful storefront gallery in Hudson. I’ve worked with this organization for years and have always been impressed by the artists they’ve showcased, so to say it’s a privilege to join this prestigious group of artists would be an understatement.
These works are special to me, and even as I’ve shifted my style quite a lot in the past couple of years, these feel like they’re a foundation of the body of work I’ve put together in my 20s. How fitting then, to have this show in my 29th year, just a couple of months before my birthday. I’m thankful that I’ve never stopped creating despite the hard work it takes to stick with an art practice while also working multiple jobs and living in this insane city. I couldn’t imagine it any other way.
I hope to see you there 🤍
Finally, after 6 long years, I have relaunched my website :) & here are two new paintings to show!
Also a reminder that I have only a few copies left of my book, “Venus in Hell”, so if you’d like a copy please shoot me a message. You can also purchase the book at both @toposbookstore locations in Ridgewood, or on the @heavymannerslibrary web store.

In 2022, I:
-adopted a monster that some might call a “kitten”
-wore lots of little outfits and went to lots of little shows
-danced with my sweet little friends
-started taking my art & being in shows seriously again
-went to Spain, Maine, and states in the US I’ve never been to before (Indiana???)
-worked hard and signed a bunch of amazing new bands and artists ❤️
-started doing Pilates every week and got into the best shape of my life
-moved on from situations that no longer brought me joy
-made some sweet new friends
-spent lots of time nurturing my relationship with the love of my life
-started working on my first art book (coming out in Feb!)
-read a lot of books, watched a lot of movies, cooked a lot of delicious meals
-got on top of and started actually treating my anxiety and sleep problems
-tried to live my life in a way that is meaningful to me and no one else
Hope 2023 is a sweet one. Cheers
