It is almost time for my senior recital! I am so excited and blessed to be having an opportunity to perform some of my music I’ve worked on over the years at West Chester University. I am grateful to have invited some people very close to me to perform along side me. @choleherbet@turnagc@siebs_22@jurdly@undercover__brotha are all gonna be there jamming out! I look forward to a good time with family and friends and to share joy with one another.

Mostly I’m a huge rock and blues guy but I decided to learn a classical piece to broaden my horizons and to practice a song without relying on a pick. So this is me attempting to perform an easy transcription of Fur Elise by Ludwig van Beethoven.

New exercise for the day. This exercise comes from the Hal Leonard Country Guitar Method book. The first part of the book talks about "Cowboy Chords" which is just open chords. This exercise is based on a song called "Sweet Dreams". It's in 6/8, it has a specific strumming pattern and it is in the key of G. Instead of just doing the exercise in the key of G I thought I would transpose this exercise to the other open chords of A, C, D and E. #countryguitar #guitarist #musician #journey #practice
