when is a horse ever on time? does a horse have the slightest understanding of what time is? no. they only understand running (do not challenge this statement horse experts). i hope no one here would expect a horse to be beholden to such mortal vices as schedules and calendars. thus how can we judge this work’s tardiness by any less lenient a metric?friends and brothers... what matters is we are running. go and listen to the horse if you would like to. on spotify, bandcamp and everywhere else. Got a very cool event coming up on the 5th of June at @roughtradebristol / sharing a stage with some people I’ve been dying to see myself and some who I have seen and can confirm are ace. There’ll be art hosted by @tha_loovre / drinks and food and lots of other wonderful stuff it will be a nice big celebration of community and local talent. The rumours are true. I have failed my driving test for a second time. It was decided that I am too talented a mover - I would make other motorists insecure. Thus my big blue horse remains in his stable. BUT this blow won’t stop my next single HORSE which comes out on the 1st of MAY. Incredibly excited to be sharing a stage with some fantastic talented folk for the third @longcatrecordingco event at @thestaranddovepub at the end of this month - a few lifetimes ago I lived over the road from it so it will be a lovely return down memory lane; might even get some ancient songs from my earlier years if you’re lucky. See you there!
New Lands is back at @ivyhousenunhead this Tuesday for a sibling special!
@sidplimmer is a 24 year old artist from the Mendip hills in Somerset. His latest album is about a blue horse. It is about moving fast and standing still all at once. It is about diesel, social misfires and children of the gods stealing the sun. Formerly Plimmer released a number of projects under the now-defunct alias of BoyBovis. A trilogy of albums that dealt mainly with rurality, belonging and dark places underground.
Sid’s sibling @hackpen______ will also perform on the night. Tickets are on Dice now. Pay £7 for a ticket or £9 for a ticket + a pint of New Lands lager!

Happy April. Lovely April good morning. I have moved house and made films. April brings with it gigs and new songs, kindly keep your peepers open. On Saturday myself and @danhuughes tear it up for @bleeting1 at the Louisiana, then on Tuesday we will be off to Landan for a gig alongside my darling brother @hackpen______ at the Ivy House for Newlands. A new single will be with you shortly and news of more gigs coming too.
As far as jobs go, this one will be hard to top. I cannot wait to see the efforts of so many wonderful and talented people writ large. Watch this space! #fiveleavesleft
