Recently I’ve been trying to create healthier habits for myself to reduce stress and anxiety and increase my productivity.
As someone with ADHD who’s suffered from anxiety for years I’ve become custom to living in fight or flight mode (hello resting heart rate of 90 x). I’ve also felt like I’ve been living in my phone watching the time tick away, which only leads to more anxiety…shock!
So now I’m on a mission to replace my screen and doom scrolling time with things that will expand my brain - books, podcasts, documentary’s, music, exercise, play. I realised that what I’m really craving is knowledge and creativity, when I am learning and doing, my anxiety is satiated.
After two weeks I’m already feeling more revived, motivated, creative and productive and it basically started with the acknowledgment that I’m addicted to my phone. I’m sure I’m not the only one that feels this, I hope maybe by me posting I can not only keep myself accountable, but make others not feel so alone.

The co-headline ‘Forever Mourning’ Tour has come to end. And what an absolute wild ride it has been!
No management, no labels, no funding, all completely DIY. The 9 shows spanning over 2 months across the east coast of Australia with @callthemourning was truly unforgettable.
To venture out on the road and interstate with your best friends to play a bunch of sick shows, and show the rest of Australia what you’re all about is quite a surreal and rewarding experience for all of us.
To share the stage with so many incredibly talented bands, play our music at a bunch of epic venues and to meet and make so many new friends along the way was amazing.
To every single person that purchased a ticket, every venue, sound tech, bar staff, venue bookers, every photographer, videographer and every single person that purchased merch we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for coming along for the adventure and supporting us!
