I was taking a picture of Penny when our foster raptor crashed into me and caused my coffee to fly all over the back yard. Penny was suitably offended.
Well at least I was right that Panini Press would take a major role in helping with our new sweet-as-honey foster puppy, Lilac (Pyrenees/Lab). 3 month old puppies are exhausting 😂🫠
(Bonus points if you can find the irate corgi in photos 6 and 7...not only did we subject him to this but he also had 9 teeth removed this week and is CRANKY AF)
(Also sometimes Lilac reminds me of Wishbone ❤️ except for the puppy-ness and the lack of suspicion and the fact that she's probably going to be about three Boneys stacked on top of each other when she's fully grown)
my little joy for today....I, somehow, as a lazy, negligent gardner, grew these adorable little yellow conjoined squash and I am irrationally proud of them
also the back yard has been taken over by tiny little pumpkins and I am very happy about that
We have a new foster and already he and Panini have started an early 2000s indie duo and are releasing an album on Friday! (j/k dude is one of the quietest pups we've fostered...they are just too good at album art photos)
Meet Herbie! He is a year-ish old, has an ear with a mind of its own, prances like a dressage horse when he's on a leash, and is an all-around chill dude (who loves to watch Bluey)!
Herbs is available for foster-to-adopt in the Chicago area with Underdog Railway Rescue!
Seth graduated from 8th grade today! We are so incredibly proud of him and all of his hard work and the mark he left on his school (see last photo). He'll be at York High School in the fall!!
