The future of South African skating is not just coming. It is already here and it is making major noise on the global stage. 🇿🇦✨
During the first stop of the LES Skate Gauteng Tour in Greenside, the legendary
@t_flecks from
@sidequest.chronicles sat down with the young leaders of the scene. We are talking about kids who are already receiving worldwide recognition for their talent and pure love for the craft. 🛹🔥
These four are the literal heartbeat of the next generation:
•
@omphile_skates is only 12 years old and has already flown to the USA for development camps and is now heading to the World Championships in Brazil.
•
@sereno_skates is holding it down alongside him, placing 2nd in the national youth division.
•
@skat_thendo is a street team rider for
@thesk8school and acts as a mentor for beginners while pushing his own progression.
•
@_baby_ron_2k is showing off technical street skills and representing the strong family bonds that keep this community growing.
Seeing these kids featured on massive platforms like The Berrics proves that the world is watching what we are building here. This movement is about more than just fun. It is about building a sustainable industry where our youth are respected and supported as professionals. 🇿🇦🚀
Big props to
@gareth.9.11 and the les_skatepretoria team for giving these young stars a platform to shine. We have to get behind this talent because they are taking our culture to the top. 💎🔥
