Because of your unwavering support, we raised $2,000 worth of funds that will now be shared among four local Dallas organizations doing vital, on the ground work for our immigrant community. Every purchase you made helped a family catch up on overdue bills, put warm meals and groceries on the table, and keep a safe roof over their heads. This is what collective care looks like. Luna Koi & SideEye are collaborating once again but this time we’re focusing on giving back to our neighbors. In light of the terror that this administration is unleashing on its own people, we’ve decided to team up with a local organization that’s putting those affected most - first. Because they’ve been targeted by hate, they don’t have any socials but @itsflakag and her team are at city halls & immigration offices all week giving aid and funds to those who need it the most.

Today choosing joy in the form of resistance is the only thing I can really do after feeling weeks of hopelessness about the world’s current climate. Don’t forget we’re literally all in this together. In the face of hate, love each other. Even that is such a privilege.
