THIS SUNDAY @thegrovediy 🍿 The second side by side screening at the grove diy 📽️ A combination of curated and submitted films Huge love to everyone that put a film in for this, if it’s not shown this time I’m sure there will be moreeee Come for 7:30 where there will be some pizzas so get there early and then films start at 8:30 Bring lots of layers as this is an outdoor cinema night The grove is a beautiful place so please explore the garden and all the bits around. SideBySide II - Submissions Open The second series of these screenings will take place on the 10th of August at the lovely @thegrovediy 🍿 Submit your films! Any narrative film under 10 mins to [email protected] with the subject side by side 2 🎬 Really want this to be a place to test out new works or just show old ones to new people. THIS SUNDAY @thegrovediy The first side by screening at the grove diy A combination of submitted and curated films So much love to everyone that submitted Can’t wait to see you there, come chill before at 7 where we’ll be having a bbq so bring some food if you fancy. Films will start at 8:30 (when it’s dark enough) with an interval halfway I encourage people that haven’t been to this spot before to have an explore Hope this is the first of many, please respect the space and take all litter with you. Also please keep noise to a minimum around the residential ares See you there

SUBMISSIONS OPEN Really happy to announce the first Sunday eve screening that will take place at @thegrovediy on May the 4th. Its been in the works for a while and I’m looking forward to seeing all the films that come through! Please send with the subject SIDEBYSIDE to [email protected] Any narrative film of any genre under 10 minutes. This can be either a new unseen film or something from the archive that you’d like to share on the big screen Feel like there’s so many amazing filmmakers around us that I’d love to combine together into one evening. Personally I’ve always learnt so much from showing my work publicly and there’s a lot to take away from it either in conversations or new ideas. I really want to encourage people that maybe haven’t screened a film before to use this event to do so. There’s not any expectations or any ‘standard’ that we are aiming for so please send in anything you’ve made It will be an open air cinema type of evening so make sure to bring layers.
