Στο Διεθνές Διαγωνιστικό Τμήμα Μυθοπλασίας, φιλοξενούμε το "AGNES" της Leah Vlemmiks. Η 74χρονη Agnes βρίσκεται αντιμέτωπη με την προσδοκία της κόρης της να γίνει η μόνιμη «νταντά» της οικογένειας. Όμως, αντί να υποχωρήσει, η Agnes επιλέγει να ανακαλύψει τον εαυτό της από την αρχή.
Η ταινία συγκεντρώνει ένα εντυπωσιακό cast και μια ομάδα παραγωγής που εγγυώνται κορυφαία κινηματογραφική εμπειρία. In this year’s International Fiction Competition, we present "AGNES" by Leah Vlemmiks. 74-year-old Agnes is pressured to become a live-in babysitter, but she finds her own sense of agency in the most unexpected place. This "second coming of age" story challenges the societal invisibility of older women with wit and soul.
Boasting a stellar creative team, the film stars the iconic Eileen Davies (Vera Drake) and Clare Holman (The Crown). Behind the scenes, Executive Producer Ryan Bobkin (Infinity Pool) and Director of Photography Naomi Amarger bring a high-caliber cinematic vision to this intimate portrait.
