Endlich ist es soweit! Unsere limitierte Kollaboration mit Künstler Luìs Silva bringt den portugiesischen Sommer direkt in unseren Shop!☀️ Geshootet haben wir die Pieces direkt in seiner portugiesischen Heimat – und zufällig ganz nah an unserer Produktion, dort, wo sich sein farbenfroher Stil perfekt ins Stadtbild fügt. Doch so bunt und laut wie heute waren seine Designs nicht immer. Wir haben ihn gefragt, wie er seinen unverwechselbaren Stil gefunden hat.

@sickfaces : Ich habe viel in schwarz-weiß gemalt, Comic-Zeugs. Dann begann ich zu surfen – und mein ganzer Stil veränderte sich. Und ja, es wurde deutlich bunter! Musik begleitet mich durch den kreativen Prozess. Das war die Idee. Eine Mischung aus Natur, Sonne, Strand und alles zusammen. Es ist was es ist. Man nimmt etwas davon, legt es dort hin, dreht es herum, zoomt rein, zoomt raus, und am Ende kommt etwas dabei raus!

Finally! Our limited collaboration with artist Luìs Silva aka. Sickfaces brings the Portuguese summer to our shop! ☀️ We shot the styles directly in his Portuguese homeland - and very close to our production. Exactly where his colourful style fits perfectly into the local cityscape. His designs weren't always as colourful and loud as they are today. We asked him about how he found his distinctive style.

@sickfaces : I used to paint a lot in black and white, comic book stuff. Then I started surfing - and my whole style changed. And yes, it became more colourful! I'm always listening to music and that basically drives me through the creative process. That was the idea. A mixture of nature, sun, beach and all together. It is what it is. Grab a little bit of here, put it there, turn it round, zoom in, zoom out, and something comes up!
