Friday 13 March, join us to sketch @bearlyawakeinbrighton A new monthly life drawing salon that will be playful, welcoming and in a queer-owned colourful cafe. You asked if we could run some more life drawing events locally and we have found a brilliant venue to make it happen. Look at these colours! 🟡🟥🔵✏️ Materials provided (pencils, pens, pastels) or bring your own sketchbook / favourite media. Our first model will be @siancarouselmodel £12 advance, £10 concessions, £15 on the door. It’s going to be cosy, intimate, colourful and a brilliant playlist. Queer-run, ND friendly. Thank you, talking to you all an written feedback after I model means a lot.
I model for me and to meditate. I model to raise awareness. I model for diversity. I model as activism and because bodies like mine, and people like me, don’t always get a platform.

A selection of gorgeously loose, squiggly, wobbly lines and marvellously wild marks made on paper at our life drawing event @friezeconnect@berrybrosrudd last week, with @misskatywick giving a fantastic intro too. What a special historic venue to host life drawing in for Frieze members with @siancarouselmodel modelling for us. Lots of fantastic chats shared afterwards too as we admired each other’s art.
