CTAFF 2025 - Official Selection

Quietly proud and happy to share The Silent Embrace has been officially selected for this year’s Cape Town Adventure Film Festival.
A deeply personal project ~ created as a love letter to wild spaces, the film explores the connection between people and place, shaped by the Cederberg mountains.
Wonderful to know the work will be celebrated alongside some inspiring local and international filmmaking talent.
Screening on October 20th at Orms and again on November 1st at the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town.

Trail running has given me a lot this year. Combining my love for the mountains with my creative career is a privilege I’m constantly aware of and grateful for.

Things have been pretty busy lately.
It’s a choice though, what a privilege it is to be here.
The trust of creative integrity and care. The Loop team, the crews and the everyday humans who show up. Thank you. Years ago I dreamt of this responsibility, just having the opportunity to carry the load. To be in the room, to have fun while earning the work.
It takes time, layer upon layer. Then somehow the rhythm gently takes over.
