HOTEL RURAL IN ESPERANÇA. 2024 - ON GOING The project is located in the village of Esperança, a few kilometers from Spain. It incorporates a pre-existing structure to build a new rural hotel, drawing inspiration from the characteristic tones, textures, and materials of the location. The design adapts to the natural topography without imposing itself, minimizing the impact of the building’s volume on the landscape and aiming for the least invasive intervention possible. The social spaces open onto the landscape, while the rooms take on a more intimate character. The journey through the building itself is a sensory experience. O edifício molda-se à topografia, prolonga o parque sobre a sua cobertura e abre percursos que convidam a explorar, atravessar e descobrir. Com uma implantação que minimiza a área impermeabilizada e privilegia o contacto direto com a natureza, o Campus transforma-se numa extensão do espaço verde, criando uma promenade acessível com vistas amplas e uma relação contínua entre interior e exterior. [EN] Caparica Campus At the Costa do Cão Campus in Caparica, architecture emerges from the landscape itself. The building follows the natural topography, extending the park across its green roof and creating pathways that invite exploration and a fluid transition between inside and outside. By minimizing impermeable surfaces and enhancing direct contact with nature, the Campus becomes a continuation of the surrounding green space — an accessible promenade with wide views and a seamless relationship between architecture and landscape.
