Beat Pon Chest see’s No Ice Cream Sound make a nod towards a corner of British sound system culture which made its way into the lime light in the early 2000s.
With more of an eyes down, dark and spacious tone; this piece draws from forefathers like The Bug & Goth Trad. This inspiration can clearly be heard on the sonic palette which is complimented by Jman’s vocals seamlessly flowing across the chest rattling riddim.
This one takes you back to the dark & unfettered; frisson filled rooms of yesteryear, a sound you can feel as much as hear!
