Cuando me siento poco productiva, saco todos mis bordados del año.
Éstos son los del 2020 #ElPeorAño... aunque en muchos sentidos no fue malo en absoluto.
Hubo crecimiento y en momentos fue doloroso, pero hoy sólo es gratitud. Hubo aprendizaje, que en momentos fue confuso, pero hoy sólo es experiencia.
Hubo aislamiento pero también mucho tiempo interior, de nosotros para nosotros. Hubo un freno en la velocidad de la vida, que se sintió como un latigazo en el cuello, pero que hoy nos tiene viviendo de formas más justas para nosotros mismos, con más paz y más momentos para aprender a sólo estar.
En fin. En mi crecimiento y aprendizaje, el aislamiento, el freno y la paralización me tuvieron bordando en secreto durante un año. En secreto incluso para mi, que no termino de entender en qué momento hice todo esto. Hay piezas terminadas, piezas en casa de otra gente, piezas en proceso y ejercicios de todo tipo.
Me siento profundamente agradecida y feliz de poder sacarme el secreto y conpartilo. Para que permanezca, para que no se me olvide. Para recordarme y comprometerme conmigo... porque me lo merezco. Porque mi productividad no es lo que soy, porque soy lo que necesito.
My intention for this week is to take the time to really question myself about the things I fear. Fear itself and the notion of it is a profound activator of my subconscious. I deal with it by deflecting, avoiding and ultimately ignoring it, but the reality is that I'm constantly left with the feeling of being paralized and frustrated.
I will make a conscious choice to let go of my fear and embrace the part of me that makes me brave, strong, beautiful and geniune.

This week I’m starting a new approach to self care. I will be setting an intention on Mondays and will try to make the best of every week by following it through.

For this week I intend to prioritize my personal projects in order to achieve the greater and more conceptual goals I set for myself. It is usually hard for me to stay on top of the efforts I make to care for myself, but meditating about the past weeks made me realize I need to make room for me. For the things, the space and the time I need so I can continue being my main support system.
On that note, my last entry, “Lo que tiene ojos” brushes on the subject of self love and self reflection. I’d love to hear how you care for yourself and the things you do to remind you that failing yourself is never an option.

This palmistry hoop is inspired by the curiosity that drives us to ask someone to look into our own hands as a means to find answers in our lives. I thought... why would we trust someone to tell us things about ourselves when the answers are inside us all the time?
So this is a reminder that you hold all the answers, that your own body can be your own map and compass in life and that you don't need anybody else but yourself.

Hice esta pieza pensando en cómo se vería la expresión literal "Todo mi amor". Me imagino una piedra preciosa adentro de un corazón que se ilumina cada vez que alguien siente todo el amor por alguien.
