How I love my job!!!!
Had the best experience hosting the launch of @visa INFINITE at @fairmontmumbai
Got to sit in and participate in some exclusive experiences organised for a select few. Made my own signature perfume courtesy @theperfumebar.india , ate some delectable treats crafted by @varuntotlani from @masquerestaurant and hang out with a very cool crowd.

As a sound healer, I cannot even begin to describe the joy these instruments bring.
During the course of my training, while I was feeling inexplicably drawn into the science behind sound healing, I had a sudden epiphany about the meaning of my name.
My name means Sound (or as my friends used to tease me and say “you mean noise”)
Anyway, I realised I had to find my way to this through my journey of practicing all things that benefit mental and physical wellbeing.
I can finally see that my Venn diagram intersects perfectly with all those modalities.
Sound, Mind, Art and Behaviour

It really is just that! All of us have hiccups through the day. Some can be rather unpleasant and difficult. But if you let every little prick, cause a meltdown you’ll remain paralysed most of your day! And the constant rumination, victimisation makes it worse. One has to be able to switch gears quickly.
This ability to bounce back and not be stuck in a spiral is what gives emotionally regulated people an advantage.
So, master the reset and you’ll see how your life changes.

Balance and moderation emerge from a discerning mind. Knowing what needs your energy and what doesn’t can save us much exhaustion and heartache.
We would like to see ourselves as hyper productive because we are conditioned that our ability to perform is the only way to earn love and respect. That’s not love, it’s capitalism.
And even if that is a goal we aim for, burning yourself out is a sure shot way of never getting to that goal.
So pause, reflect, discern and then move.
Your output is dependant on your input. If you are unable to save, replenish or guard your energy within, it will compromise what you can offer outside.
This goes for everything, your diet, your sleep, your physical fitness, your multiple roles, your relationships, your career and all of your experiences.

“standing on one leg with eyes closed is a highly effective, free, and simple clinical test for assessing balance, proprioception, and neurological health. By removing visual input, this exercise forces the body to rely on sensory feedback from joints and muscles, which helps improve stability, strengthen ankles/knees, and enhance neural connections.
Difficulty: It is much harder than it looks, as vision provides 30% of our balance.Goals: A 10-second hold is considered a good benchmark.
Aging Indicator: An inability to maintain this balance is associated with higher risks of falls and increased mortality in older adults.
Recommendation: Practice daily for a few seconds per leg, to improve long-term mobility.
Why it Works:
Proprioception: It strengthens the brain’s ability to sense the position and movement of the body without seeing it.
Overcoming Decay: Helps overcome the age-related decline of inner ear sensors.
Bone Health: For those over 70, this practice can help improve hip bone mineral density.”
