I love Sonic Youth and was inspired by the band’s iconic merchandise from their 1992 Dirty album tour. The album artwork is by the artist Mike Kelley, who I’m also a big fan of. The fusion of artists and bands that I liked was really punk rock and interesting at that time. My Mantis Muse version is a homage to Sonic Youth’s original band t-shirt.
