Roth bei Nürnberg! Where my Oma grew up and a beautiful little German village. Complete with a freaking hunting palace called Schloss Ratiboir and many amazing examples of half-timber houses from the late 1500's into the early 1900's! Managed to see all the family sites and most of the historical bits and pieces of the town. Even snuck in a cheeky couple beers during the first day of the Frühlingsfest. Slide 8 — Oma's childhood house with the balcony from Ratibor Slide 10 — Taping of the first keg of SpringFest by the mayor Slide 11 — Oma's family resting place and church

Norris Day! A bunch of clips of Norris for his birthday that I love, so that I may watch them without digging through my phone. Miss you little dude. Just about a year ago Norris left us, but 5 year ago he was born into my life as a full fledged spirit of chaos — a Nebelung through and through. NorBoi was the loudest cat I've ever met, both in pure decibels and sheer number of vocalizations. He loved food over all else and not just cat food literally any food. His appetite for trying to eat nearly anything was unmatched and maybe part of his downfall. He loved people and if you took him out for a cat walk in a public place he was guaranteed to strut around and make some friends. Nori absolutely loved car rides. He'd put his head out the window if you rolled it down and drove slow enough, you could take him in shuttle rig or on 5 hr road trips no problem. Aside from food, I always said the second way to his heart was fights. He could play and fight you for hours. In a strange twist, I figured out he loved to be message gunned a few months before his time was up. Trees and bushes were his happy place. There was nothing funnier than watching this big grey koala looking thing scramble up a tree then walk around in it trying to get down. He weirdly always loved bikes and would join you in the garage at any opportunity excitedly inserting himself into your project. I'm sorry we couldn't save you Nor. Thank you for your chaos, thank you for the yells, and thank you for sending us your protégé Kudder 💓

Thirty-two! Had a magical Birthday in the Blue Mountains — presenting some research I've been working on for the last few years, catching up with friends and coworkers, then finally got to sample some of the Mt. Emily loam! Larches were in full salute and the dirt was all time! Riding new trails blind is my favorite, so getting a whole ride of blind riding in was an absolute birthday treat!

I had an awesome day taking photos and hanging out at the @wild_rogue_events Rogue Squatch last weekend! I'm a little beat up so I decided not to race and instead brought the big ole photo cannon out to capture the racing from the other side of the tape. Spring is special on the savannahs of the Rogue Valley. The hills are so green, flowers are popping off everywhere, and the poison oak is glowing red warning you to stay out of its way haha. I saw some epic lines, some real nice early season pace, and some pröper steez out on course! The photos are up on my drive now, peep the link in my bio or on my story. And make sure the check out the "README" file on your way to finding your photos!

A proper one for a jankaholic dendrophile like myself! 'Out There' was surely my favorite trail of the year. It's so unique and has everything: slabs, woodies, views, a green room, and the classic wooden berm. Thanks for riding it with me @cait.kell . If ya find yourself in Whistler, don't forget to get Out There! #jankaholicsanonymous #fromthevault #mtb
