3 weeks ago the boys and I in the Dream Team decided to add a RUSH of excitement to our live set and learn the classic opening track from Rush’s 1975 album Fly By Night entitled Anthem. 3 weeks later at our first live show of 2026 we decided to open the set with it for the very first time. Well after being a wee bit down about not getting to play the 4-string on the George’s stage tonight and not having a backup plan my incredible amazing girlfriend saved the day and bought us tickets to the new limited release Iron Maiden documentary film Burning Ambition. Being a limited theatrical release I had no idea it was playing here in Fayetteville but sure enough she found out it was and got us tickets. Along with Rush, Iron Maiden is one of the most important and influential bands in my life that I hold near and dear to my heart. Their music has been the soundtrack to most of my life and was the band responsible for me getting into Heavy Metal music and who I’ve had the great fortune of seeing live in concert 4 times. So getting to watch a documentary film about a band that means so much to me with someone who means so much to me means the absolute world to me and is further proof that I have the greatest girlfriend on this planet!!!!!! Thanks so much my love for another wonderful memory and night together

Well with our guitarist @flippanitus recovering from his surgery on his broken ankle the next @fightdreammusic shows won’t be until next month in June. Daikaiju 🖤 My first time seeing them perform. File this under one of the most unique and awesome shows I’ve ever been to. What an amazing experience and sign me up for every opportunity to see them play live forevermore. So much fun! ✨
