U.S. Travel Association's IPW is the leading international inbound travel trade show in the country, and a key driver of future visitation to our city.
The show will be held at McCormick Place June 14 - 18, with events and activations planned for the thousands of destinations representatives, travel trade professionals, and international media at venues across #Chicago.
We are currently recruiting several hundred Chicagoans to help us staff these critical (and fun!) events.
Volunteer shifts are for four hours each, and anyone who volunteers for two or more shifts will receive special non-monetary perks, including gift cards, attraction passes, and other fun bonuses that showcase the best of Chicago. "So just walking in the building and seeing Show Strategy’s brand next to a DNC sign, that for me is kind of a moment," founder Glenn Charles Jr. told ABC’s Alexandra Hutzler this August. With just one day to go until final pack out’s complete, we reflect on how far we’ve come, what we built, and how quickly we dismantled, cleaned and returned the United Center back to its original state. Almost like it never happened. But we will all remember forever that it did.

No debate—the 2024 Chicago DNC made history in many ways. Including the country’s biggest tent we built for the #BigTentParty. Measuring 60,000 square feet, the media tent nearly filled a @unitedcenter parking lot. Not even major tornado damage just weeks before the convention could prevent us from getting it rebuilt, pristine and ready to go! It was just one of the many tents and rentals we provided for the #dnc2024

Before the balloons even dropped at the DNC’s close, our team was off to New York to oversee final details and execution of this cornerstone of NYC’s cultural landscape.
We set the stage for over 200 classic and modern art galleries from around the world and are looking forward to welcoming over 40,000 attendees. And while we welcome the start of this famous art show, breakdown continues for the DNC.
