SHOUT! ZINE VOL. 4: THE DRY VENUE. This zine is essentially an information packet on WHAT a dry venue actually is, WHAT it can do, and WHY it is so important! It also features a section on Harm Reduction, explaining how a Harm Reductionist approach can be linked to a dry venue policy while also going into detail about the Toxic Drug Crisis that is currently raging through not just Ontario but all of this so called country of ours. I’m sure it doesn’t come as much of a surprise that our government is doing absolutely nothing but making it severely worse for nothing but their own profit. Shamelessly and openly continuing the genocide of the Indigenous Peoples of this land. THE ZINE WILL BE AVAILABLE AT ALL OUR UPCOMING EVENTS FOR FREE AS ALWAYS!

T-SHIRTS. FINALLY WAS ABLE TO FIGURE OUT SCREEN PRINTING. THE SHIRTS ARE FREE with a clothing donation. what does that mean? it basically means this. Instead of spending money on the shirts, all you have to do is give US a blank (or largely unobstructed) piece of clothing in return! the clothing can be any type, any size, and any color. If you have more than one piece of clothing you want to give in exchange for a shirt, that is more than welcome because we will be using the clothing YOU give us to print more shirts! it will become a cycle, and eventually every shirt we have will be unique and FREE. both of us have very little money and know what it is like to go to a show and see a shirt you want but you just don’t have the funds for it, so we didn’t think it would be reasonable to price our t-shirts as well. THIS IS HOW WE CAN GET AROUND THAT.

ONE YEAR SINCE THE FIRST SHOUT! SHOW! May 5th, known as Red Dress Day, is a national day of remembrance and mourning for missing and murdered women, girls, & 2S+ people. The day originated from the Métis artist Jamie Blacks REDress project. The use of the red dress is to symbolize the violence and abuse indigenous women endure. We implore you all to research this issue and reflect, not only today, but all the time.

WRAR FEST. Thank you so much to every single damn person who came out and donated. We raised $3,600. That means we were able to donate $1,800 to both @sisteringdropin and @therealntumba Empower Her Congo. That is absolutely insane and when we say WE raised $3,600 we mean WE AS A COMMUNITY. They are constructing 2 community farms to support child brides, orphans,and single mothers. Supplying not only food but jobs, as well as providing job training and stable income. They are providing micro grants for Women-led businesses. Many women in the Congo are not living, just surviving. These micro grants combined with training will provide them with the ability to start successful and long lasting businesses They are also building 10 Retirement homes for elderly widows. Women in the Congo are surviving through war, extreme poverty, widowhood, child marriage, and abandonment. Living in conditions no human should ever ever have to experience.
