Counting down to my show closing May 16th i’ll be doing a deep dive into my characters in my series. This piece titled The church mother pays homage to the woman of the black church and backbone of our community and my own grandmothers.
I’m incredibly proud to announce my first ever exhibition and BFA Thesis “ICONIC: Archetypes of American Blackness” will be on display.
