Glimpses from our newest indie film!
There is more to Kodagu than coffee. From the Kodava land, we bring you a lesser-known story. One that celebrates a goddess, one in which a god fleeing a village is detained by its people, one in which a bird plays a role in choosing a templeās sanctum, one that shows a culture that long ago recognised gender fluidity before it became a movement, one which creatures of thresholds ā neither wild nor fully domestic ā occupy a unique ritual position.
Keep an eye out! It will be live in a few days!
Many thanks to
@bipinbiddappa2020 for playing a pivotal role in making this happen.
@santoshsaligram for being the one-man show that he is on most of our projects. In this one, he is co-director (along with Sourabha Rao), editor and one of the cinematographers.
And forever indebted to our super-fun, hardworking, smart friends who challenge us every step of the way to be more creative ā
@shotbysuveen (
@suveenpoojary ) and Rakesh Kote. Two fellow artists we canāt wait to work more with!
