at home with @miles_tobel :)
Miles, Julia, and I got dumplings down the block before heading into the cleanest boy apartment in all of Chinatown. Inside, we talked Camp Flog Naw (his first festival ever), his roommate’s woodworking projects (the chair is not for sitting), and an LA upbringing where he was often the youngest musician in the room.
Miles did the strings arrangement for my favorite album of 2025, Malcom Todd by @malcolmtodd and is an incredibly talented composer and arranger. Watching him “play his computer” was unlike anything I’ve seen.
Miles!! Thank you so much for allowing me to feature you in my ongoing project highlighting NYC musicians in their own spaces 🖤🖤
