Strengthening Shoreline’s relationship with Nigeria’s upstream regulator @nuprc_ng .
Our MD, Mr. Tunde Karim, recently paid a courtesy visit to the Commission Chief Executive of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), Mrs. Oritsemeyiwa Eyesan.
Accompanied by Rotimi Dawodu, a member of the Shoreline team, Mr. Karim reaffirmed Shoreline’s ongoing commitment to cultivating a constructive, transparent, and forward-looking relationship with Nigeria’s upstream regulatory commission.
During the engagement, both parties exchanged views on priorities for the continued growth of Nigeria’s upstream sector, including opportunities to accelerate production, strengthen operational frameworks, and advance the country’s broader energy security agenda.

Doubling down on Nigeria’s energy potential.
At the 9th edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII9) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, our Chairman, Mr. Kola Karim, joined Arise News to discuss leadership, energy, and Africa’s development future.
Mr. Karim’s message was clear: Nigeria should target 5 million barrels of oil per day by 2030, more than double our current output.
Watch the full interview on the @arisenewsofficial YouTube channel to hear his insights on what it will take to get there.

What if you could get more oil from an existing well without drilling a new one?
Well intervention covers any operation carried out on an existing oil and gas well to maintain, restore, or improve its production performance. In mature fields where output is naturally declining, it is one of the most cost-effective tools available, maximising production from existing assets without the cost of drilling a new well.
For operators managing mature assets, the question is rarely whether more production is needed but rather how to get it as efficiently as possible. Well intervention is often the answer.

“The secret of success is consistency of purpose.” — Benjamin Disraeli
Consistency separates those who wish from those who achieve.
Success is rarely the result of one dramatic effort. It is built in the quiet, repeated actions that no one sees but that compound over time.
This week, stay the course. Show up with purpose and let consistency do the work.

Strengthening partnerships within Nigeria’s energy sector.
Last week, Shoreline Natural Resources welcomed the Lagos Chapter of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) on a courtesy visit to our corporate head office.
The delegation was received by our executive management team and senior members of our technical team. The visit provided an opportunity for meaningful dialogue on industry development, technical excellence, and deeper collaboration within Nigeria’s upstream ecosystem.

Did You Know? Nigeria is one of only six African nations that are currently members of the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
Having joined the organisation in 1971, Nigeria has consistently ranked among OPEC’s largest African producers. This reflects the scale, significance, and strategic weight of the country’s upstream sector on the global energy stage.

Nigeria’s upstream sector is growing, and the numbers prove it.
Nigeria’s crude oil production has risen from a historic low of 960,000 barrels per day in 2022 to an average of 1.71 million barrels per day, a five-year high, with peak output reaching 1.84 million barrels per day in 2025. This is according to data provided by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, which attributes the rebound to strengthened pipeline security, improved industry collaboration, and a coordinated operational framework across the Niger Delta.
As Nigeria pushes toward its 2 million barrel per day target, this milestone marks meaningful progress on that journey.

At Shoreline Natural Resources, safety is not a checklist. It is a culture.
On this World Day for Safety and Health at Work, we hear from our HSSE Lead, Mr. Clement Opute, on how we have built and maintained a safety culture that goes beyond compliance; one that shapes behaviour from the field to the office, protects the lives of every worker, and defines how we show up to work every single day. At Shoreline, safety is not enforced from the top. It is lived at every level.
Watch to learn more about what the safety culture looks like at Shoreline Natural Resources.
