As a boutique jewelry store, we get this question a lot, and for good reason! If you're shopping for an engagement ring, wedding band, or other diamond jewelry, it's important to be informed on what you're buying.
The many jewelers we have at Aiyah offer both ethically sourced natural gemstones and easily traceable lab-made gemstones. In the end, it truly boils down to personal preference and budget. There's no wrong answer!

An amazing summer collaboration with Street Tails Animal Rescue and Fairmount’s favorite Jewelry Shop - @shopaiyah 🐶🩷
We will be hosting small group Outdoor Yoga classes in Aiyah’s beautiful courtyard on select Thursdays this summer. Doggies that are available for adoption through Street Tails Animal Rescue will join class for the ending Savasana pose and will be available for pets and play after class. Sign up for your spot via Momence with a suggested $20-$25 donation. All proceeds will go to Street Tails Animal Rescue.
All classes will be held at Aiyah - 1809 Fairmount Avenue. Classes are BYO Mat and water. Classes will be limited to 8 attendees!

We're offering Private Wedding Ring workshops this Spring for five couples. These workshops will be a bit different from our regular Jewelry Workshops. It'll take place over 2 sessions with one-on-one instruction with our founder, Rachael. You'll get to create your ring first in wax and then finish it in metal with more options for customizations. Perfect for sentimental, creative couples.

Kara Yoo is a designer based in Vancouver, Canada.
Her approach feels really aligned with how we think about jewelry at Aiyah. Intentional, always evolving, and made to last. Each collection reflects her growth as a designer, which makes everything feel more personal.
We also love that we share the same values behind the scenes. Kara Yoo uses recycled metals, lab-grown stones, and works with Responsible Jewelry Council certified partners. Those are the kinds of details we look for when bringing brands into the shop.
We're so happy to carry Kara Yoo and to continue bringing her designs to the East Coast.
