Happy Sunday! We have so many new friends here, so I figured it was time to do a meet the maker! So here we go, my name is Ishita (I-she-tha) and I'm the Designer/maker behind Rangeen (rungeen). I'm a proud Indian-American, lover of color, and women in tech. Though I'm a California native, I'm currently based out of Raleigh, NC and absolutely love this state! To keep it easy here are 6 fun facts about me: 1) I am extremely passionate about I&D (inclusion and diversity) and try to continually celebrate and learn from all our differences as people and our cultures. 2) I love to travel and take dessert detours on each of my adventures (@ishsdessertdetours ) 3) One day I hope to open up a resteraunt after I retire. 4) My doggos, Maggi and Momo, are truly the cutest pups and I am obsessed with them. 5) I'm a womxn in Tech/STEM and use my expiriences to mentor other young womxn in high school and college in their academic and professional careers. 6) Lastly, I'm a proud TCI (third culture individual) and do my best to share my personal third culture expirience as way to embrace my hyphenated identity and help others embrace theirs. It's only been a few weeks, but all I can think is what a privilege. When I first built Rangeen, my goal was to create conversational pieces that people could wear and celebrate their identities. Never did I think it would become a platform to meet and foster the most beautiful friendships. 6 years ago, I made a friend at work, and her name is @lexi_sischo . She was a great work friend who soon became my work wife, best friend, and one of my biggest supporters with Rangeen and now Ishani. A few weeks ago, I had the biggest privilege of being not only her Matron of Honor but also her jewelry designer (with the help of the fabulous @_grais ) and her stationery designer through @ishanievents . To think, what started as an innocent work friendship has evolved into one of my most cherished memories.🧡 I may not be selling/designing jewelry at Rangeen like I did before, but now I have the ability to make bespoke one of a kind pieces for my couples, which they can cherish life. It's small, but I am ao glad I get to continue creating and bringing the essence of Rangeen wherever I go. Figuring out how to post this over the last 10 months has been a challenge. But being that today is New Years Day (it happens right after Diwali) for many Hindus, I figured today might be better than never for my fresh start. Before I jump into the "why," I want to express the utmost gratitude to you all. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be a part of such a vibrant community. Full of thought leaders, personality, and amazing humans. It has been such a privilege building Rangeen because I got to connect with you all over the last 4 years! We have had the opportunity to color this world and celebrate our unique identities. It truly was the effort of all of us: community members ,creators, ambassadors, and everyone in between! When I first started Rangeen in 2019- 2020, there weren't many, if any, indowestern jewelry designers in the states. But since then, over the years,we have built a community of artists whom I can't wait to continue supporting! Now for the why - there isn't a true why, but seasons change. I absolutely loved building Rangeen, but life has had other plans for me in the last year. Since getting married and growing in my career,Rangeen has had to take a backburner because I couldn't do it justice. My brain moves too fast for what I want to create, and I decided it's time to focus on what matters most: - My health - My family and friends - Corporate Career - My main small business 😉 Over the last year, i have been fostering these 4 things. I feel like my body is getting back to what it used ti be,I have more time for the people in my life, I love what I do as a day job so it keep me VERY busy, and over the last year @hintofdesi and I have been building like crazy for our venture @ishanievents ! I'm finally committing to building something I have done for years (+/-10 years) and making it official! I am so excited to continue building and creating as we create larger decor pieces for events, plan and organize them, and lastly, continue to create memorable, inclusive, and unique experiences! But even with that, it's time to finally flip the pages and go to the next chapter! Thank you, all, for letting me color your world❤️🌈

Alrightn I know, it's been 5 months since I was "scooped up" and "traveled from Miss to Mrs," and i still go back every day thinking how lucky I am. From coast to coast, I'm surrounded by strong women who inspire me to be a better version of me. Women who love me unconditionally and wholeheartedly. Every single one of them spent so much time creating 2 different bridal showers, which were so me. As a girl who loves to DIY, create art, plan events, and most importantly, bring community together. On the West Coast are friends (but really family) who raised me. While on the East Coast are the people in my adult life but feel like I've known a lifetime. Both who have helped me move mountains. Here in the US, the concept of being "raised by a village" isn't common, but man, I'm so lucky I had the opportunity to be raised in and continue to live in one. Life update: We finally got married! A little under a year ago, I made the decision to take a break here to focus on the process of planning, being with family and friends, and, of course, marrying my person! Now, this might not be jewelry content- but it will be (😉) as I share more about planning/DIYing a 300+ person 5 day wedding! But first, I want to share my gratitude with this community. Our wedding was a celebration of course our love, but also our personal communities, the Rangeen community, and the nc small business community! It has been hard taking a break, but being able to live out this last year, I wouldn't ever trade it for anything. Slowly, I'll share the experience, but i can't wait to share what we've been making again! Hi friends! Hope y'all have been well! Clearly, I have been a bit MIA, but I wanted to check in with y'all- How are you? I hope you're taking care of yourselves this season. As the leaves change and the holiday season begins, I hope this transitional period is full of joy❤️ These last few months have been a time! I'm deep in wedding planning, and we're officially 5 months out from the big day! I've been designing again (but this time for my own wedding!), I've been DIYing my way through this year, celebrating loved ones and, like usual, working way more than I probably should😅 I just wanted to come say hi and wish y'all well since it's been a while. When your bridesmaids surprise you by wearing the accessories you made💎 I couldn't be luckier. This group of womxn challenge me, loved me, humble me, humor me, and so much more. This weekend was full of love, and to see my connections throughout my life made lifelong friends the most amazing feeling. The fact I get the privilege of being surrounded by womxn who empower everyone they're around and are the definition of joy and love is truly immeasurable. NEW YORK FASHION WEEK HERE I COME! I'm far from a model - or what I thought a model would be. I have broad shoulders, a curvy figure, can't smize for the life of me, and have my clumsy moments (more on that soon).
