Sami ᨒ | Arizona Photographer

Hello! ㅤꨄ︎ Sami here - I’m due for a new introduction! In my life, I have always been infatuated with picking up artistic hobbies… to the point where I found myself eating lunch in the art room in high school & then picking up more art classes in college. My passion for the artistic world quickly led me to film & digital photography- shooting nature, friends, and now portraits of strangers that I’ve had the pleasure of capturing. I am a painfully nostalgic person!!! And always on this pursuit to somehow capture the complexity/beauty of the world through my eyes. This previous year, I began developing my business and it continues to feel so special.. Sharing this nostalgia with you- capturing an authentic version of you. Lastly, a core drive for my photography is being heavily nature focused! I love a beautiful studio session, but I am forever inspired by our Earth & her wonders! For me, it’s the purest form of devotion- and I would love to share that love for nature with my clients (in my free time I shoot nature film photography too) More facts about me: -I received my 200YTT certification for my personal practice & looooved it! -I always have a new hike on my to-do list! My goal is to incorporate this passion with adventure elopements in the future- this passion currently helps me find beautiful locations for portraits :) -My best friend is my rabbit named Sage 🐇 -I am deeply influenced by the 60s/70s hippie movement (love the music & pretty much everything) -I am based in Arizona but I am also trying to build a base in Oregon and Washington + I’m a soon to be auntie there -During my week, I work with neurodivergent children (teaching an art class soon & as an aide at a school this year) -I absolutely love when people give me their whole life story so don’t be afraid to!
