Also a reminder that our programming is always free or sliding scale and AOF is always free! Donations are only to pay rent and if you have nothing to give you are always welcome of course! Shoe Bones is offering a nature journling workshop. Limited openings, be sure to register now! DM or email [email protected] Have you wanted to pay more attention to the nature you have in your backyard? Hav eyou wanted to have a reason to get outside more, especially in the last weeks of winter? Nature journaling can help with both! You will learn how to capture the beauty of nature in various forms, including sketching, writing, photography, and more. This class will meet at Shoe Bones and take a 15-minute walk to Mack Park where we will find a quiet sit spot to journal. Depending on the weather, we might spend more or less time outside. This workshop will postpone in the weather is bad, but make-up dates will be added in March. *basic art supplies will be provided, but not cameras.

We did it guys….after months of trying and failing….we’ve got a son of the white mare. . In case you aren’t in the loop on this meme, Skyler, my wife, (this is Pluto typing) and shoe bones regular, has put only one movie in the hat…..several times…For several months. Despite having never seen it and having no idea what it’s about. She has even recruited others to put this movie in the hat. We don’t know exactly how many Son Of The White Mares are in the hat at this juncture, but there are quite a few. Despite literal months of effort by Skyler, we have yet to pull Son Of The White Mare. This hasn’t slowed her down though, and her work has finally paid off.
