Big thank you to the North Dakota Museum of Art @ndmoa and @joeellis.art for putting together this amazing show. One of the best graff related shows I’ve ever seen and not just because I’m in it. Thank you Grand Forks for the hospitality, and thank you to everyone who came thru the artist talk and the drawing class. That was fun. Freestyle professor mode. It’s been a while. And thank you to @martyolovesyou for coming thru with snacks.

The process of all of this is so intense, I forget about the final product. The part people want to see. The good flick. Thumbs up. Silent frown. Here are a few from 2024 . Time and space. Midwest planet. Local pyramid. Lots of location. Every second was on the clock . We do u view . Finally u see it but only the most forward and advanced few know it spells truth. If America wasn’t falling there would be camera crews following but instead there is a wrecking ball and dick drawings it’s all awesome thank god for @apple and @instagram for giving us these powers to exist beyond the moment now it’s up to us to survive

Now on view at the North Dakota Museum of Art… ‘Re-arming Language’ March 5th - May 10th Very proud to be part of this show. Curated and envisioned by @joeellis.art . arrived at organically from seeing graffiti on the freight trains parked across the street from the museum, this show includes some of the twin cities most talented illegal artists and heavyweight screen printers ,as well as legendary iconic individuals from the East like @steveespopowers @futuradosmil and @bisabutler Several paintings and sculptures created during my time living in an abandoned flour mill in the middle of Illinois are on display, as well several screen prints 5 sketchbooks from the archives, and the first edition of Unemployment Weekly Magazine. A zine I made with @crash_override_acid_burn from the photos, writings and artifacts from the last 10 years scrapping copper, painting graffiti and making lights in abandoned industrial sites across the Midwest. There is a lot going on here. And it’s all the way in Grand Forks North Dakota, so you know it’s real I’m doing a gallery talk at the reception on Thursday April 9th, and a workshop on the 10th. Pull up. Bear witness. Peep game. Ask questions. There are no bad questions. Learn about the most important and most up art movement in modern history, and hear how and why we do all this. 🙏🏽 @ndmoa @joeellis.art @brlsq Poster designed by me, and available thru @ndmoa

Graffiti itself is hard enough for most people to accept, understand and appreciate… and these lights are even weirder than graffiti, but they come from the same place. We find these parts and lights in abandoned buildings across the Midwest, and build lamps out of them. The idea came while we were scrapping copper and painting graffiti in abandoned buildings. The lamps are what happened when those 2 similar but different activities were fused together in the middle of the night in a dark sketchy abandoned factory somewhere in the Midwest. Recycling the raw materials of the consumer era and creating objects that are functional and will last forever. Building little pieces of a different reality using the bones of this one. Using what we need and not applying for a permit . Using all of our powers dragging duffel bags of metal thru wastelands and across train tracks. We are still in the middle of it so the description is still being written. But we are teaching others. And that transfer of knowledge is on display as a group show featuring 6 students who learned this on their own by watching us, or by pulling up and asking questions and not being scared. Check out the show next weekend @unitedartsupply . To be continued… #midwestdesign #postindustrialart #unitedcrushers #explosionprooflighting
