This is an important set for me, one that made my brain click. I was not ready to take some pictures in that cosplay, as everything that could go wrong WENT WRONG that day before the con so I was not feeling it. Still, @marcom_photographer.cos managed to shoot some really pretty pictures and finally after years I can post a picture of one of my favourite genshin characters 🎀

"Impara la statistica con Madoka", terza parte... Per la curiosità di oggi, abbiamo messo Madoka in mezzo a tante fontanelle, prima che si lavi prestate attenzione a quello che ha da dire!
Oggi parliamo della funzione di verosimiglianza: essa rappresenta la probabilità di ottenere esattamente lo stesso campione che (per ipotesi) stiamo studiando. Se stiamo trattando dati indipendenti e identicamente distribuiti, si otterrà quindi tramite la produttoria della funzione di densità/probabilità.
Solitamente però, invece di analizzare la funzione di verosimiglianza, si applica a tutta la funzione il logaritmo, che trasforma la produttoria in sommatoria e dà vita alla funzione di logverosimiglianza.

La pillola statistica di oggi... lo sapevate che la distribuzione di probabilità preferita da questa maghetta è il chi quadrato? È la distribuzione della somma dei quadrati di variabili normali e può essere utilizzata per testare anche ipotesi che non dipendono da parametri. Fun fact: Su R (un software statistico) viene chiamata “chisq”, che assomiglia molto al nome della cosplayer.
Ora Madoka deve andare a combattere le streghe (dura la vita delle maghette) ma tornerà tra qualche giorno per nuove curiosità sulla statistica. E ricordate che è scientificamente provato che si impara tanto di più un argomento quanti più fiocchi indossa chi te lo sta spiegando!

Per il post di oggi ho aspettato calasse il buio proprio come per questo set, che è stato fatto durante il Rimini Comics in tarda serata, quando il sole era sparito e potevamo fare qualche giochetto di luce sfruttando il flash.
Le foto sono uscite molto carine, soprattutto grazie al soggetto, e approfittiamo di questo dettaglio e della vostra attenzione per lanciare l'iniziativa "Impara la statistica con Madoka".
Sapevate che il Teorema del Limite Centrale garantisce che dopo un'opportuna trasformazione la somma di variabili casuali indipendenti e identicamente distribuite (ovvero con la stessa distribuzione di probabilità e il risultato di ognuna di queste realizzazioni di variabili casuali non dipende da nessuna delle altre) tenderà alla densità di probabilità della normale standard? Questo porta a moltissime semplificazioni e risultati approssimati siccome molto spesso è difficile individuare la distribuzione esatta di una variabile aleatoria, mentre per la normale standard abbiamo tutte le tavole dei quantili che si possono consultare.
