📕 Revelation 21:4: “So even when I cried, I knew I’d be fine.”
As we enter 2025, I want to share a personal journey. From Sept 16th to Nov 1st, I sat by my mom’s side in the hospital, praying and hoping she’d wake up after unexpectedly going into a coma. On Nov 1st 2024 ,she took her last breath.
This last part of the year has been a struggle, and the holidays without her were tough, but I know she wouldn’t want me to stay in grief. She was one of my biggest supporters, and I’ll keep pushing forward in her honor.
Thank you to my friends/ sister friends , family, and my mom’s friends who showed up for us in so many ways. From hospital shifts to prayers, meals, flowers I’m forever grateful.
Losing a parent is one of the hardest things, but I’ll continue to make you proud, Ma. Long live the pickleball queen 👑
P.S. The painting of my Mom (my dad had painted of her when he was in the military )now hangs at my place as my Mona Lisa.
