HI I’M AYA AND THIS IS MY FACE !!! Welcome to my crafty creative corner of the internet. 🪩⭐️♥️
I received an art grant so I will be learning metal work to progress my jewellery making more! I’m so excited to create more celestial, ethereal trinkets!!! 🌀🪞🎲
Lately I’m inspired by where I live (Chinatown/Japantown), deep queer/female friendships, my inner child, sardines, puppets, and those vintage sun and moon motifs !!! 🌞🧿🪭🥠
This is where I will girl out and make cute things. My other work feels so serious sometimes so I take it VERY SERIOUSLY to be UNSERIOUS here!! It’s about playfulness! And whimsy! And letting the creative energy move through me! 🍓🎰🎪
Stay tuned for more shenanigans and creations!!!

If you see yourself and your creation, let us know so we can tag ya. 💗
✿ Heya ! Welcome to Sardine Tin Studios, a co-collaborative passion project by Aya and Aleeza. ✿
This project began with our shared love for typography, graphics, and all things aesthetic. One day, Aleeza came across a sardine tin that instantly reminded her of Aya… stamped with the angel number ‘555’ and an image of two sweet fishy friends swimming side by side. Aya then suggested turning the graphic into a lino print, which was a shared obsession at the time… and from there, something quietly clicked into place. As the new year unfolded, things began to align, and we decided to materialize our shared passions into something we could hold, grow, and share with others too.
Our hope is to shape gentle spaces for gathering, where we can host workshops and share the things our kid-hearts are most devoted to. At the centre of it all is play and curiosity - unbound, unmeasured, and free from the ache of productivity. So, without further ado… wake up your inner child and follow along as we wander back to intuitive art-making ! Maybe, along the way, we can help inspire something tender and creative in you too.
In celestial camaraderie,
Aya & Aleeza
