cheers to dreams coming true 🥂 welcome to photo & design by shimecca, the 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙤! I’ve always wanted my own space to create ever since I picked up a camera in 2012 - from there it’s been hard work, many tears, lots of breaks and dedication to get me here. This space was a true labor of love.
I will be offering product + branding photography, and graphic design services. I officially open in August, but I had a great time celebrating with my village yesterday! I just had to throw a photo of my beautiful cookies in there 🥹

I’m always asked, “what’s the coolest thing you’ve designed so far at bojangles?” I finally have an answer. 12 murals.
as a Black creative working in corporate, I constantly prioritize our representation in anything I design, ensuring that we are authentically portrayed. I chose to travel to the NCA&T mural first because of the Black art I incorporated into the mural, symbolizing the essence of the HBCU.
I was given 7 days to draft 3 concepts and 2 weeks to version out all 12 of them with illustrations tailored to each university. lots of 2am nights lmao but it was so worth it.
