Du 19 au 21 Juin 2026 Dance People Un festival international de danse qui shifte Pendant trois jours, plus de 60 artistes, danseur·euse·s et habitant·e·s de Lyon font vibrer la ville à travers un festival international de danse. Ils persistent à croire que les conflits peuvent être résolus par la force plutôt que par le dialogue, par la mise à mort plutôt que par la compréhension, par l’occupation et la destruction plutôt que par la rencontre. Ce sont des personnes qui se nourrissent d’idéologies que nous espérions appartenir au passé. Pourtant, elles sont bien là, façonnant notre présent avec insouciance, irresponsabilité et sans aucun remords. Elles célèbrent pendant que des vies sont prises, que des foyers sont détruits et que des espaces sont confisqués. Ce que nous pensions que l’histoire avait déjà condamné revient aujourd’hui sous nos yeux, et nous nous retrouvons une fois de plus à vivre dans un monde où les actes criminels et le chaos se propagent. Face à cela, nous choisissons un autre geste. Nous choisissons de nous rassembler. Nous choisissons l’attention, la conscience et le respect. Nous choisissons d’être ensemble, non pas comme une échappatoire au monde, mais comme une manière de lui faire face, de lui résister et d’imaginer d’autres façons de vivre les uns avec les autres. 🔭 OPEN CALL: Telescope Korça We are happy to launch a new call for dancers and choreographers to take part in Telescope Korça, a five-day creative laboratory happening from 4 to 8 March 2026 in Korça, Albania. This creative lab offers a space to explore, challenge, and deepen artistic approaches in dance and performance. Artists will be guided by local and international mentors, with a focus on regional perspectives. As part of SHIFT, this lab focuses on practices that rethink space, presence, and participation. It’s a space for process, development, and experimentation, moving beyond the stage and into new relational landscapes. Ongoing in Florence: On-Site Exploration 2025 📍 PARC – Performing Arts Research Centre, Florence INFERNO a pezzi – Back to the Studio at PARC After exploring new formats in the Chiostro degli Angeli, INFERNO a pezzi by Roberto Castello returned to its natural space : the studio. On Site Exploration 2025 LOCAL CONNECTIONS | Brinjë më Brinjë (Rib to Rib) – Genny Petrotta 📍 PARC – Performing Arts Research Centre, Florence In collaboration with Schermo dell’Arte (Florence) & Villa 31 (Tirana) In Brinjë më Brinjë (Rib to Rib), artist Genny Petrotta reimagines the story of the Burrnesha , Albania’s socially recognized female-to-male figure, through a poetic, multi-channel video installation intertwining identity, power, and memory. Filmed inside Villa 31 in Tirana, once the residence of Enver Hoxha, the work opens a dialogue between personal history and collective ritual. It features Gloria Dorliguzzo and Cristina Kristal Rizzo, with a soundscape by Angelo Sicurella and verses by Ledia Dushi and Amelia Rosselli. On-Site Exploration 2025 📍 Museum of Sant’Orsola – Florence Attraverso Sant’Orsola – Collective Experimentation As part of the ongoing Attraverso Sant’Orsola project, this recent on-site exploration tested a new concept: giving four artists , who had never worked together, the opportunity to collaborate within a shared frame and present their pieces one after the other in the same evening. The experiment explored how connections can emerge through sound, movement, concepts, and even the order of presentation, imagining new ways of co-creating in a very short time, all within the unique heritage space of the former Sant’Orsola convent.
